# nhl playoff pool V.3

so I’ve tried to set one up for two years now here and its never taken off.

so lets try again.

once playoff teams have been established, all paid parties will pick a team, a forward, a defensemen, and a goaltender.

A point system will be in effect and daily updates will be posted.

Point system:  
Each time your team advances a round, you get 5 points  
Each goal your forward scores earns you 1 point  
Each goal your defensemen scores earns you 2 points  
Each shutout your goaltender gets earns you 3 points

Buy-in: $5 or $10 depending on what the crowd wants.

Buy-in’s will be paypal onyl and will be sent to my account.

I hope I have built enough trust from members here over three years to be trusted with your money. I will provide my home address and phone number for all those skeptics.

Overall point leader will take home the total prize pool (minus paypal fee’s which i can’t control)

In order to assure no cheating is going on, everyone who buys in will have their picks posted in the same thread as the updates so everyone knwos im doing the tallies correctly.

This does not have to be an offer for members only, registered users may enter aswell. So i may move this thread.

Winner will have funds immediately paypal’d to them day after being declared.

Ideally, i’de like to get 20+ guys involved. This will get the winner enough change to buy themselves somehting nice before Bing’s 08 meet perhaps. Or pay off some debts 😛

Only those who have submitted their list and paid before first playoff game will be involved.
