MMMm its aight. Prolly around 360-390whp. The swapped 6-speed made it seem badass on the dyno going though 4th so fast cause its a short gear. I found driving the STi going irritating having to shift constantly…and needed to bang 5th just before the traps or else bounce limiter was ultra annnoying. ---

Yeah I could see that slowing things down a little bit… Judging by the video, I can see what you’re saying, the ratios do seem pretty close…perhaps even too much so. Still love the car though. 🙂 ---

Yeah it ran out of gear and bounced the limiter literally feet from the beams. It was a few years back but I think I remember faster ETs just letting up while in 4th LOL. I find it far too tight compared to other boxes but the 2.5L is definitely gangster. ---

Problem is the 6 speed is not a drag transmission, I believe it is better suited for the twisties. The 05 STI i drove was a joy to drive, I really like the shorter gears and would have no problem commuting with the vehicle to work. ---

Man do I ever love those things, Wow But I think 300HP is more then enough for a daly driver.
