that was quick thinking. If that would have gone wrong I can’t even imagine what his coach would have said.

that move has been adaptesd and used in several sports… its similar to saving a ball going out of bounds in basket ball and its also reminds me of an outfielder that cant make a throw cause he’s running away from the play but flips to his other outfielder. Thats not a great football move…you just can;t teach that…its GREAT INSTINCTS

thats the design of the play. throw it where noone can get it and toss it away from the play where noone is paying attn. kinda like a reverse handoff.
