So I picked up a sixer of blue light and went to U Hots for a plate. Website said they’re open till 10. They were closed at 9:45. Fuckers.

That sucks but even if a place is open going that close to closing time is a bad idea.
Employees are anxious to leave, and hate last minute customers.

It’s not really for eating so much as adjusting your cholesterol.
As mentioned, it’s typically a plate/box half covered in mac salad, half covered in home fries. Although you can also get baked beans, or all home fries, or whatever you want.
Toss on top 2 cheeseburger patties typically, although you can also do hot dogs, hamburgers, whatever. Cover the whole thing in that grease/oil based meat sauce and chopped onions, ketchup, mustard, and tobasco. Don’t forget the tobasco.
Now comes the technique. The first thing you do is tip the plate slightly for a few seconds to drain the bulk of the grease onto the tray. Then you dice up the meat, mix it all up, and start shoveling until you can’t eat anymore. You’re usually about halfway done at that point. Man up and finish it.
You get 2 slices of french bread with it. Save those till the end. Once you’re done with the plate, butter them up and cork yourself with them.
Go home and install oh-shit handles next to the toilet, then go to bed.
