Night of Fire at PRP 6/16
I took all vids, girlfriend took the pics.
I uploaded 1 vid of the Shockwave (Tri-Turbine Peterbuilt). Whitey, Is there a way to upload a bunch of vids all at once? Instead of doing it one by one?

tried my best, camera has no shake reduction and was trying to hold it as still as possible.

That was a really good show!
We were standing under the pavillion by the snack bar and when the truck spit out those huge flames, I thought my face was gonna melt. We were about 25-30 feet away from it. I can’t even imagine what those nuts standing on the other side by the guardrail felt (about 10 feet away) !! 🤣
Unfortunately, my car (still with the POS motor) only ran a stinking 13.5 @ 102mph. That works out to around 349 flywheel horsepower, hardly the 430 it’s supposed to have.
I’m thinking that it’s not even the correct motor. Now I am going to have to pull a valve cover and measure the valve lift with my dial indicator so I can tell which cam is in it. That’s just about the only way I can tell which motor it actually is. (they have many different models with different levels of HP & torque and the only way I can positively identify it is by the cam specs, not that it really matters cuz it’s going back anyway, but I just want to know)
I can’t fuckin wait until my new motor is done!

If I wasn’t working, I’d have been there. Ever since I saw your car at that one car show up by Natrona Heights years ago I fell in love with it, wish I could’ve seen it run.

Well, the only positive thing I can say is it was somewhat consistent.
13.517 @ 101.70 TT - whuped up on an El Camino
13.526 @ 101.70 TT - put the smackdown on a Mustang
13.556 @ 102.19 1st Round - kicked a 2nd gen Camaro
13.555 @ 101.75 2nd Round - lost to an Olds Cutlass (by .03)
I will never be happy with 13.5’s. I want low 12’s on motor and 11’s on spray. When I achieve that I will probably be happy (for about 5 minutes anyway)
You know what they say…your car seems fast for a while, then you get used to it and you want MORE. 🆒 🆒 🆒
