# Nismo engine mount problem.

hey guys.
does anyone know if the Nismo engine mount raises the engine up?
i did some research:
some say its exactly the same as OEM,
some say it raises 1/4 inch
some say it raises engine 1inch
not sure which one is true?
cuz right now i have Nismo mounts on my S13, with SR20DET. problem im having…3 inch down pipe touching the floor. and i bought a brand new D1 hood won’t even shut, front of the valve cover hits the vent part.
any advice would be amazing

nismo mounts raise the motor 1/4"

hmm…im switching back to oem mounts and see if it fixes the problem…i hope it does. cuz seems like the mounts i have raised the engine up way more than 1/4"

driftfreaq mounts are needed. google him up

did you just do a motor swap??
if so did you knock off that ring between the trans and drive shaft?

just looked them up, review is saying its really good and sits 1inch lower compared to nismo, i pmed the guy

no, i bought this car off ramesh. he swapped the sr20, i would have to ask him.

just spent $156 for these driftfreaq mounts…hopefully it’ll solve all my shitty problems

you need to remove that ring
sometimes the nuts on the driveshaft rub this at least mine did and it made the engine sit high couldnt shut the hood took it out and fit perfect varun told me to do it first i forgot but just hit it with a hammer
