There has been talks of a new Ailvia since the S15 died. I think the S16 would be a disappointment. What engine would they use? More than likely an NA V6 ? I’d say the most prominent generations wer known for their robust turbo’ed 4 bangers in the King trim. We love S-chasis’ in part because of how easily everything can be modded to perform damn good. We’re used to SR’s, RB’s, and to a lesser degree CA’s and KA’s that fit the bill and have the potential to perform really well. I doubt the S16 would house a superior power plant. I doubt the S16 would cost the same price or less than previous generations, and I doubt the S16 will look as sharp as a kouki or S15. I love S-chasis’, but Nissan delivering seems unlikely in this climate where emissions are stricter and cars aren’t moving off the lots.
