# Nissan Works With the Vision and Hearing Impaired

Now this is really cool. Nissan got together with multiple institutions and such to actually make the Leaf emit a sound so those who are either blind or hearing impaired (to an extent) can hear the vehicle approaching, a problem these folks have with other hybrids due to lack of any real audible sound.
