# No front bumper legal?

they really don’t unless you are talking like clipping a curb or something… (bottoming out.)

the absorption material, if any is what has some give on the impact (foam, etc.)

lots of bumpers have nothing of the sort, just a metal rebar, and a thin layer of plastic that fits tightly over it.
