# No front plate on higher end/exotic vehicles = free pass or no?

ive never had a front plate on the s4 since ive owned it.
but it may fly under the radar cause its a wagon?

I can see not wanting to drill into your bumper to hang a front plate, but if it’s already equipped with the brackets for it, just put one on. Your car probably isn’t hot enough that a front plate is going to fuck it up, anyway.

haven’t had a front plate for almost 3 years, never been pulled over for it, although i get asked about it when crossing the border.

I got a no front plate ticket on my SHO… but the cop had this to say.
" I herd you launch from the light and wind out all of first, every bit of second, and a whole bunch of third… I’m not sure how fast you were going but I have a hunch it was a good bit over 40mph so i’m going to let you off easy."

I 've lived in Kenmore for the past 4 years. No front plate on either car and no tickets.
Until last week, when I got pinched by the Town of Tonawanda on the way to work in the tC. I’m gonna zip tie it on I think. I refuse to drill holes in the bumper.

I got one from a trooper for obstructed view. (dice in the mirror). It was much better than a 15+ over speeding ticket. I also got one for not having my current insurance card, same deal, and that was dropped before court.
For some reason Hamburg Village cops must love me. Lived there my whole life- never got pulled over once. I had a Jetta with no front plate for 3 years, and several winter beaters w/o them for various reasons. I’ve driven cars for 9 months on 10 day inspections. Not to mention I drove like an ass during my high school years. I have front plates now- I don’t have a car worth the potential hassle. I even have valid stickers now!

i got pulled over in tonawanda the other day in my a4 for no front plate, i told the cop the absolute truth, someone backed into my car and ripped the carrier and everything off, asshole still gave me a ticket… he told me city of tonawanda cops were starting to crack down on it more and more
i also got pulled over for it being in my front window on my old car… the cops thought i was a drug dealer and had me in cuffs before i knew what was going on, searched the car with NO consent found nothing and let me go… i have horrible luck with cops
