im a big fan of the carter II but a lot of his songs are hit or miss IMHO.
for example… the song he did with jay-z on american ganster = :tdown:

I can’t believe people didn’t know what “no homo” was.
I’m not going to enter this BS argument on who the best rapper is. I have my own tastes in a variety of artists and that’s it. I’m not going to presume that there is a definite answer to who is better than who. It’s all personal preference. I will agree that the mainstream shit most people are aware of doesn’t do justice to what is really out there, especially in terms of quality.

i just deleted all the rap off my pc because rap sucks, 40gig gone of mixtapes. cassidy or papoose would slaughter lil wayne in a freestyle. game would also ruin him in a freestyle. unlike lil weezy game and cassidy actually do/did the shit they talk about

hands down dipset is the best. lil wayne doesnt even write 90% of his lyrics and all of his songs suck unless he is doing a hook for someone. all his beats sound the same. he was better back in the day when 500 degreez came out. all those rappers suck. birdman says the same shit in every song just like wayne. nyc rap is where its at period
