# no spark

i have a 91 honda civic. sohc 1.5 16 valve. im not getting any spark at all. the car ran for a short amount of time then quit. my guess is the ignition mod or coil… does any one have a distributer or any advice??? i need help asap thanks

Probably the coil. I think it is like 40-50 bucks at advanced.

yeah $68. im not that rich tho lol… i did alot of trouble shooting and narrowed it down to the coil. outout resistance was like 120ohms. it should be like 14ohms.

Check [RockAuto.com](http://RockAuto.com). Advanced Auto honors their prices and from what I’ve seen they are ussually cheaper.

are u sure youre not gettin spark? how did you actually test for it? put the plug in a wire and then press it up against the exhaust manifold and look at the plug

all is well ended up changing ignition mod coil plugs wire cap and rotor… thanks for you help
