The Sennheiser PXC-250 or PXC-300’s are probably the best all around noise canceling headphones. Relatively comfortable for longer periods, but not quite for all day comfort… Very effective noise canceling, small and lightweight, affordable, and they sound decent.

Ive had a pair of PXC-250’s ive been using for a few years, they cancel out that annoying plane drone quite well.
