# Noob Ignition coil question

guys I have an old rusted out Ignition coil for my Z and she fires no more.

so im replacing it with a newer “universal” performance one now the old one has a + and - sign

but the new one says “Battery”(BAT.) and on the other side it says (DIST.) distributor im assuming…  
how do i know Which side is possitive and which is Negative.

EDIT btw the positive side on the old coil has 2 wires coming from it

multi meter, + from ur car goes to + on ur new, and im sure u can figure out where the other one goes
