Hey Guys,

As everyone knows, turbos, manifolds, downpipes, all come loose from vibrations and heat in the engine. This is magnified with old nuts, studs, or stiff/solid engine mounts.

Finally there is an affordable, easy to service, reliable solution!

We are a nord-lock distributor now and are offering introductory pricing on Nord Lock washers:

**M10 Exhaust Manifold Set Of 8 Washers: 23.80$ (regular 27.20$)
M10 Turbo Set Of 4 Washers: 11.90$ (regular 13.60$)
M8 Downpipe Set Of 5 Washers: 12.90$ (regular 14.50$)**

For more information about Nord Lock please check out: [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgwmuZuJ02I](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgwmuZuJ02I)

Nord locks use two cam surfaces to create a tension on the fastener that is greater than the torque created by the tread pitch to release in vibration, therefore securing the nut. Unlike loctite, it is unaffected by heat. Watch the video!

Those are pretty nifty, other than the video resembling something from trade school…

Are you going to be stocking these, or will they have to be ordered?

You’re using these on Kelsey?

They will be all stocked yes!

haha the video is so good, i love the total lack of entertainment

We don’t use them on kels as it doesn’t seem to be an issue, but maybe we will just for added safety!

These were used in Pete’s S14 and are featured in modified mag, and a few other time attack teams use them with great success.

Are these lock washers carbon or stainless steel? I think they are the carbon ones just making sure.

I had nuts back off on my turbo manifold then I installed these nuts and havent had a problem since. This was over a year ago. I totally recommend these for any turbo application. All the serious time attack and race teams run these on their cars.

+1 recommended here.

Do you know the height of these things off hand?

About the thickness of 2 regular flat washers. I actually picked some of these up on eBay a while ago from a skidoo guy, I guess they have alot of problems with bolts/nuts rattling loose. Hopefully it stops my wastegate bolts from backing off.
