going by the numbers that the skyline laid down, my STi would have beat him to the 1/8th mile stripe, but he would have trapped 3 mph faster. so thatd put him around a 12.1 - 12.2 1/4mile. ---

smokin went 13.2 @ 110.9 with the LS6… he went 13.6 @ 106 with the LS1… my car went 12.339 @ 111.3 ---

That’s not even that fast compared to some of the cars on this site. if you watch the video, it takes place at a 1/8th mile track… they said the vette with the 100 shot went 8.22 @ 88…that doesnt make sence seeing as my SS went 8.7 @ 90 and the GTR had the same 1/8th times as travis’s STI which makes it a low 12 second car in that video…their supposed to be much faster then that. ---

I agree with you there. The majority of people who seem to purchase the GTR only car about going fast in a straight line. There’s not problem with wanting to do that, but the GTR is not the car to buy if that is what you want to do. As far as the video, I thought it looked like the two of them were babying the cars. ---

AWD is not the end all be all of cornering. Look up old car and drivers (or maybe it was Motor Trend?). The Honda Prelude was in the top ten handling cars for several years. And that is a FWD car.
