WOW, Im going to check this out hahahaha!! Haven’t seen him for years. After he sold his car, driftnation was no more once wayne and kendrick and alex left, or split up, i dont really know what happened. And he fell off the map!

lol i rember these event like they happened yesterday !!, but i was 15-16 back then lol soo long
Thanks to my brother and DN, these were the events that made me want to be drifting today ( and day dream about it till i could) and prolly keep drifting part of my life for a long time lol,

Still got 2 advan 19" R comps with team oranges signatures all over them and a few shirts somewhere lol… CHUNKY BAI!

I posted about that awhile back 😛
He has a WRX now, we talked cameras for a bit, talked cars for a bit. He said he misses RWD, and that the new WRX is too soft.

i remember seeing one of those cars going in to the wall…was it a signal car? omg that was so long ago. I miss my black corolla back in the day…It was in a booth on that signal day at mosport for some mag.
those were the fucking days!

The day after DX1 I started looking for a 240, 6 months later bought a black S14 and still got it.
What I loved about that event was how close you could get to the drifting. No sitting way back in the stands. You could stand pretty much at the curb with the Signal cars getting as close as possible. I remember leaving I was just filthy from all the smoke, dirt, rubber.

hahaha holy shit man. memory lane! i was a spectator at DX1 and event staff at DX2. i have so many stories from both…
all my other pics are on the hard-drive of my computer that just crashed, so i still have to transfer them to my new laptop.
but i do have this one on facebook! 6’5 me trying to fit into 5’5 Kazuhiro Tanaka’s car.
