# not enough time

ever get that feeling where no matter what you do, there is not enough hours in the day to do it?
I need to finish the baby room at home because the wife is due in only 6 weeks. I have the room half torn apart and didn’t realize how quickly the new baby is coming. I also have a shitload of work to do in the yard, but spend my weekends at sandcastle or cedar creek with my kids so that is backing up and needs done.
I also feel like shit because I haven’t been to the gym in a few weeks becasue of everything else going on.
add to that that work is fucking crazy right now and I end up working most nights just to get by.

I know what you mean, I don’t even have kids and I feel like there is not enough time. Between work, working on the house, cleaning, cooking, and exercising, there isn’t really time for anything else.

It’s hard. Time management is huge. I find that I waste a lot of time when I really take a hard look at how I spend it…which is evident when you see that I’m on PS in the middle of the day.

Wow…someone else feels exactly the way I do.
60+hours a week, plus 2 kids and a new house = alot of dropping into bed exhausted at night.
I found that getting done what absolutely needs done, cramming alot into our days off, and planning a day for the g/f and I to spend together, or with the kids, in advance, works quite well.
But like you said, /emo rant.

I keep trying to get my 4 and 5 year old kids to mow the lawn but my wife gets all mad for some reason. 🙂

damn your lucky to get a day off… i work 60+ hours have a new house a 2yr old and an 8 yr old … when i get a day off i stay the fuck away from them.
