Well it turns out that someone bumped us from the house we were going to buy. Our offer was contingent on us selling our house and someone came in that did not have a house to sell and offered more than we did. :mad: So now my house is for sale and I don’t have a house lined up to move into. :mad: :mad: :mad: ---

cant u just like…not sell ur house?i dunno how the real estate thing works,there isnt penalties or anything for pulling out of selling ur house is there? ---

The reason they could buy it is because we were waiting for the house to sell to avoid 2 mortgage payments. What makes me mad is that we just had the new house inspected on Friday. There wouldn’t be any penalties because we made the sale of our house contingent on getting the other house. There are a lot of ways to protect yourself in real estate, but none of them helped us out this time.
