No WIVB here. Just a blue screen. I just got this email now: > Dear Valued Time Warner Cable Customer; > Our agreement with LIN TV Corporation to be able to carry WIVB and WNLO has expired. We are no longer able to legally provide LIN Corporation’s channels without their permission. We have asked for an extension of our former agreement, but LIN has refused, choosing instead to inconvenience thousands of viewers, in an attempt to generate new revenue for their company. Time Warner Cable is continuing to reach out to LIN TV Corporation to get relief for our customers. > In the meantime, Time Warner Cable wants to help as many customers as possible to continue getting WIVB and WNLO. > Call 1.866.664.2793 to find out how you can get an antenna and A/B switch to continue receiving WIVB and WNLO free of charge. **_You can still watch Channel 4 without using Time Warner._** One way is to connect an over-the-air antenna to the back of your TV. You can disconnect the cable, remove it, and then connect the aerial. A set-top antenna is all you need in most areas. Other viewers may switch to DISH or DirecTV, and a growing number can take advantage of the new Verizon FIOS, a fiber optic service offering one line including phone, television and high speed Internet. You can call Verizon to find out when it’s available in your neighborhood. For more information about the Time Warner re-transmission agreement, please call 1-800-948-9655. ---

They’ve been in Tonawanda for a while, but I don’t watch TV much and the price is a wash, so I haven’t found any motivation to switch yet. This works though. ---
