My father was at the TW office in OP and the line was out the door! Just down the street was one of those pop-up tents with a sign that read “Fios TV is Here” and there was a big line of people there too! LMAO. ---

Today was great, a small handfull of co-workers were flipping shit because they cant see the game this weekend. I could have invited them over but that woulda elminated the fun. This just proves that dish \> cable. ---

yeah ive never had a problem with directv customer service they are cool about shit and give free stuff away if you get angry enough although i havent been able to get a hd/dvr box outta them …anyone got a hook up on that?? ---

I just picked up the last HDTV Antenna at Walmart and hooked it up, looks phenomenal. It almost looks better than it was originally with timewarner. ---

If you have an hdtv, you can get channel 4 “over air” in hd. With an antenna i get it perfect in HD. It took me about 20 minutes to put an antenna together with stuff i had laying around. It’s not really that big of deal. ---

The time warner on indian church is like two blocks from my house. I took a cruise by there today, they were handing out antennas. By the time I got there, they had large homemade signs that read that they were out of the free antennas, but you could go buy one and they would credit your bill for up to 20 bucks if you showed them a receipt for an antenna. Fuck channel 4 man… If all these channels start pulling this stunt, cable prices will be even higher than they already are. ---

It really is comical how technology has come full circle. All these people probably ditched their rabbit ears and old roof top antennas over the years and now they are gold if you hung onto them. I took an antenna off a customer’s house last week. I should cruise by and see if its still in their backyard and repo that shit! ---

If you buy any antenna, and bring in the receipt to TW office, they’ll credit your account upto $20. If you just want to watch the game in SD and live in the city or close you don’t even need antenna, just grab about 18 inches of any old cable, strip both sides and that should pull in a good SD picture, without any costs or trips. TW is supplying antennas, they are not worth squat, I think alot of people are jumping on this just to get a free antenna that will be garbage without a converter in a few months. Hell the pic they bring in is shitty, IMO. ---

You could even go really ghetto and shove a paper clip into the back of your tv. That’ll even bring in a SD picture! ---

I have a reel of rg-6 coax cable. I stripped and crimped one end, and ran it to the nearest window and made a sd antenna! I am still going to the warehouse for the game. If you want cheap drinks, and a reserved table with a view of 3 tv’s pm me and you can come hang out. ---
