all that wont matter come feb when its mandated that all broadcasts are in digital. then old methods will be completely obsolete. ---

I hate TW, what about the people who use their services through slingbox. An attenna will do me no good. I guess I will have to find a backup plan. ---

Noticed people lining up at BestBuy and Circuit City this morning around 10:30 (stores don’t open till 11). The vast majority had some sort of Bills gear on so I’m assuming they were all antenna shopping. Yesterday my wife said traffic was insane on Maple because of the TW antenna give-away. I didn’t see it for myself but she said it was backed up from the golf course all the way to the TW office, and once people got there it was complete chaos because the lot wasn’t big enough for the traffic. She didn’t go very far the other direction because the turn for our house is not far from the TW office, but she said could see traffic backed up past Hopkins the other way. That’s just nuts. ---

Some people must think its some $50 antenna, it’s junk, but if you have a digital tuner it’ll pick up ch4 better then anyone rebroadcasts it. If you do not have a digital tuner, it’ll be watchable, but expect 80s quality. Indian church was clogged from union to harlem yesterday,… I think channel 4 forgot they paid cable in the day to get their over the air signal to customers that could not pick up shit off antenna, now they demand 12 million to bail their poor ass out of going bankrupt. I’d like to see their pres resign shortly. Also, if you have a digital tuner, sometimes you don’t even need an antenna, it’ll just pick up the signal and add 4.1 if you go into settings and select antenna and search for digital signals. ---

Everybody check your attics too. Sometimes previous homeowners leave surprises for you in the form of giant antennas up there. I know TurboTSi just found one. ---

I think everyone should have said fuck an antenna and fuck channel 4. They live off sponsors paying for commercials. Drastic drop in viewers = drastic drop in sponsors = dont bite the hand that feeds you. IDC either way, thier channel sucks. ---

I just took a 3ft piece of regular cable, draped it over the top of my tv, and have every OTA channel. I’m watching cbs in perfect (better than TW box) hd right now. Fuck antennas. ---

I’m all set now… got every channel in crystal clear HD. Took me a while to figure it out though. I was used to tuning straight to the channel, not this 4.1 stuff.
