Was going to post just a few pics in the Viper vs. Porsche thread, but apparently I have yet to post my pics/vids from my trip to Germany… mainly just the Nurburgring since I’m sure nobody cares about anything else… lol. If I have already posted them (didnt find anything searching) then I apologize and this can be deleted…
And now to the Vids first.

The road that goes around the actual track… might as well be on the track (except for the speed limit). Please disregard the gay music… there was very limited selection of English stations on the radio.

No, it was too late in the season and in the day (we didn’t get there until just before it was getting dark) so they were no longer renting them… I wanted to soooo bad. I was even going to try to throw some money to someone to sit passenger but never saw anyone entering the track. I’m sure I’ll be back in Germany sooner or later and possibly get a chance then.

Should have told me you were heading over there ahead of time and I could have linked you up with Robert and my sister for a day. Possibly given you a ride around the ring in the Clio Cup or the C5 at full tilt.
Definitely an awesome place to visit if you ever get the chance. My dad is now overseas there for a month. Retirement rocks :excited

That would have been awesome. It was still pretty nice to just be there… possibly the next time I go over I’ll be able to get a little more time to spend at the track and hit you up on that offer… lol

Quiddelbach is beautiful countryside and the Nordschleife is the icing on the cake. If you do go back in the future give me some notice. My sister typically has no problem making passengers brown their shorts on test days.

Lives/works in Switzerland but is all over Europe racing. Spa, Magny-cours, Nords, Hockenhiem, Monza, etc, etc.
