The controversy around the laps exists regarding the different starting and ending points, and the timers.

Garage419 has spliced the two timed lap videos together and freeze-framed them when the cars are in near approximation to the same point.

Garage419 supplied an independent timer for both, on a spliced-reel of both laps. Enjoy!

so vette wins by 3 secs or so…
