Just drove there… There was a cop sitting next to the building at Delaware Park. Was gone when I passed in the other direction. Weird to go so slow… It should not be a 30 after Elmwood exits (going west). Makes no sense. ---

I guess no one can die getting hit at 30mph… The guardrails should have been the immediate and only necessary action. But we are now in a society of over reactions and “freak” events are somehow expected to be the constant and we must defend against them will all of our ability. Amazing how fast funding and approvals can happen in certain circumstances. ---

If you framed the debate as hey we think its good for Buffalo you would get more push back… Now you say do you want more kids to die and its hard to argue with that. ---

We had people who only shared ideas that read main media over dinner and allowed people to discuss with different groups of friends of varying options which allowed people to have opinions but not as extreme. Now we have social media where people are friends and all share the same beliefs which makes people more into their idea even if it is dumb and unfounded (ie. anti vaxers) and spread this garbage as they all become extremists in their own ways based on the interests of their social groups. ---
