Hm. I’ll be damned. The state has a standing army, though apparently the NY national guard’s ultimate loyalty is to the fed over the state and it engages in international conflicts? Maybe the state wouldn’t need the fed to fend off a rebellion. ---

People were bringing stuff like this up in the 2A debates “Well who is going to fight the Army” which I found funny if you look what states have the most enlisted people it matches up perfectly with states that are Pro 2A and Pro Gun. ---
