California’s standards blow. If we want to adopt standards, get the German TUV standards where you can modify a car but it just has to be approved by an engineer after you do. It’ll help get rid of rice too!

california law just encourages peopel to have their “clean engine” for test day and a smogger engine for the other 364 days of the year
therefore doing nothing for air quality as it applies to those vehicals
heres a great idea : forget all the extra bullshit, just have the safety inspection and a sniffer test … no mater what is done to the engine … it passes as long as it meets the standard for its year

I just dont see how this is WNY focused… 8 million residents pollute more then 800k…
Of course there are other factors as well, like all of the commercial ships we have coming though here; the cargo planes always ferrying product about; and the fleets of tractor trailers that bring goods in and out.

i am gonna buy a pre OBDII car now…Nikuk u are right its mostly NYC but they would bitch if they were teh only counties targeted in the state…so the whole state has to suffer…thats what sucks the most is that Money talks and big businesses that pollute have the money to buy their way out of that shit…i am moving to Antarctica and starting my own country…SNOW RALLY ALL YEAR
