I’ve heard the Edison on 47th has some good prices, my sister usually stays there when she goes to NY for business.

Theres a super8 on 46th about 3 blocks east of times square thats reasonable. Not much of a place but for the cost hard to beat. Oh and dont forget parking is another 30ish per day.

If you don’t mind the distance, flushing has some economical alternatives.
$70-$80ish per night, typically includes parking.
quality about a typical school apartment

if cost is a really big issue then you can stay in a hostel right in Manhattan. if you plan on being out a lot and not using the room much its a great and cheap alternative and should only run you 30-50 a night. its basically like living in a dorm tho.
