so im going to NYC in two weeks and i was gonna buy my self some new clothes. i just want to get diff clothes other then the mall ish we have around here. So i was wondering if any of you got anyother good brands of clothes that we cannot get around here. also is there any recommended clubs,bars,resturants,ect to go while im there? im gonne be there for the basic tourist shit but i want to also do some other things ---

You can buy some of this around here, but clothes like Kenneth Cole NY, Banana Republic, D&G, Prada, Gucci, etc. are all popular there, quite expensive though. ---

i was there 3 weeks ago. we tried to go to China Club near times square (if you take the subway to times square its about 2 blocks away), lots of people we asked recommended it but by the time we got there, after midnite, the line was too long so go early if you want to check that out. We ended up going to a place called The Park, pretty cool, was a bar/restaurant inside, people dancing in the bar area, then a glass enclosed patio with real trees/plants and benches set up to look like central park, upstairs was another large bar/dancing. Had a good time there. But drinks are expensive so either drink up before you go out or expect to drop at least $60 on drinks at the bar. Oh and at The Park, they were screening at the door for guy/girl ratio, 5 guys ahead of us got turned away (was actually funny, the door girl was a bitch to them lol) because they didnt have any girls with them. ---

Have you ever tried shopping at Urban Clothing Co. on Elmwood? They typically have stuff you won’t find at other retaillers. ---

Urban Outfitters Im sure Howie can direct you better, its been about 5 years since I’ve been there, but its across the street from the H&M near or on the same block as the Empire State Building. I bought what are by far my favorite pants from there :tup: Ugh cant wait to go back this winter! ---

YRB (Yellow Rat Bastard) on Broadway in between Broome St and Grand St. Always has really nice stuff. I get stuff there every time me and my girl go back to the city to visit her parents… Also allot of the big stores like Armani Exchange and Diesel are right in that area.
