There is a car show and racing there today. $15 entry fee to watch or spectate. Any one else going? We’re gonna be racing my Evo today for the first time. Should be interesting

Not going to make this one but you guys have fun. I will probably be racing the Camaro this year because the Nova won’t pass tech until after this winters round of mods.

^ I run .75 slower on a wednesday than i do on a properly prepped track. They also statt you out of the groove on the starting line.
last week, i ran my bud down the track, cut a great light, a .516! Then i look over,
that bastard cut a .5000 that run. Stealing my thunder.

Ive run at lancaster for years. On all different nights. Last year i finally ran my car down a 1/4 at TMP. I almost missed second gear due to shock at how well the car hooked up. Lancaster doesnt even do anything for me anymore

1/4 does’t do anything for me anymore… but it’s $15 on a weeknight and the weather is PERFECT so why not… makes a nice break from $500 / day road racing.

On a Tuesday night with a prepped track, Lancaster is fine. I used to run 7.6’s there and at NYI I’d run 7.4’s on the same setup. Not THAT far off…

☹ the evo holds the title for now for fastest 1/4 car I’ve owned.
the track was empty, I got 15 runs
first pass ever in the car, almost my best also.

Best time was 12.7 @ 115 w/ 2.2
Best overalls: 60 = 2.168. Best mph = 117. Traction was my problem, these stock runflats suck
even when I got a good launch it just broke free again at the top of first or into second. I bet this car has 12.4 on better tires and low low 12s on DRs
