# NYSI second opinion

Thanks for the input. I am a NYSI. I understand. There is a spec for ball joints, it just depends on the kind of car you are working on. GM products for example have a spec.

Either way, a ball joint that is worn can cause considerable harm to the driver and others if it fails while driving. Do you agree?
