It sounds like it could be a pinched nerve. They are easy to pinch and many times just get worse as the day goes on. I would say to just try not to walk around too much. Especialy becuase you said it hurts when you just move it, it definatly sounds like some sort of pinched nerve. Ice is your friend! When you get home, Ice that foot! If you have been on your feet alot recently you could have agrevated something unknowingly and it swelled which in turn caused a pinched nerve. ---

Yet again JEG takes a swing and a miss… You realize that when you pinch a nerve there is no swelling in your foot, to reduce SWELLING take ibuprofen, since it is an anti inflammatory. The foot is not swollen like he said, so there is no point for ice. A pinched nerve also I doubt there will be swelling in the place he pinched the nerve. But just in case you can kill two birds with one stone, with the ibuprofen ---
