My nephew turns two years old this week. I need some ideas for something cool to get him. It’s so difficult, especially when I don’t see him all the time. He’s smart as shit and very mobile. Any ideas? I’m hoping to stay \< $250.00. Thanks in advance! :tup: ---

yeah, i’d wait a little till he can appreciate something that valuable. then get him a power wheels car. A kid with a power wheels car owns the neighborhood, and it will start him off right with liking cars. ---

buy a toy and give the kid a saving bond with the rest? at 2 years old nothing will be that great,. ---

i work at a toy store. for two years old id recommend something from arts and crafts, to something he can do with his parents like a game or a play set. or since you say hes real smart go with a floor puzzle, again, something he can do with his parents. ---

Kids don’t understand value for a while. $250 is a lot for a toddler. Buy him a gift and throw him a party @ someplace fun. I bought this in blue for my my sons 2nd b-day/x-mas time. I have a 2yr old, little guy 🙂 He only wants to spend time with the wife and I, doing whatever we are doing. If we are cooking then he wants to be included, or if im fixing something he looses his mind with excitement. So like Deebo said, just spend time with him. I suggest the strong museum of play in Rochester I know its a bit of a drive. But i suggest get there when he wakes up in the morning. Go thru the drive thru at Dunkin Doughnuts and then drive to the museum play for a few hrs have lunch and if the kid still naps schedule(ask mom what time this happens) the nap for the car ride on the way back. haha yeah, $250 is obsurd. The kid’s parents probably won’t even spend that much. I got my niece 3 awesome things for Christmas and spent less than $50. Check amazon for toys. If you’re insistent on spending a ton, give a bond as previously mentioned. ---
