# o2 sensor help!! \*Searched and no help whatsoever\*

hey guys, my o2 sensor is gone on my 1993 240 so i bought a brand new one from partsource. its NTK brand pre-cat and is supposed to fit but its waaaay too small. the old one has a much bigger thread. this is the second ntk o2 ive picked up from 2 diff parts store, i dont understand?? help?!!!

there is 2 o2 sensor’s u sure ur getting the right 1

There is one on the downpipe which is larger then the one on the cat which is tiny.

Old thread but i wanna put up the answer in case anyone else is searching for this.

The O2 sensor on the exhaust manifold has a threaded adaptor that goes into the manifold, then the o2 sensor threads into the adaptor. When i pulled out my old o2 sensor, the adaptor was seized to the sensor, making it look as if the thread and hole are HUGE. I finally figured out the adaptor was on the old sensor, tried to remove it, couldnt, ordered a new one from Nissan for $10. DOUCHE!
