The average American is fucked beyond belief. I have no faith in the average American. Atleast now, I think something has the chance of getting done. Lets not even discuss the fact that stuff is going to get done with a Democratic controlled House & Senate. If McCain had won, NOTHING would get done. Every proposal would stay gridlocked. Atleast with a Dem. running the show, and 50-something Dem’s approving the props…something _may_ get done. ---

Where I work and on this board I have seen so much hate. The absolute fear people have of Obama is scary onto itself. Republicans lost power through thier own faults, how do you have control of Congress and the Presidency and screw up as bad as they did? Don’t be pissed off at Obama or poor people, or the middles class, or the college educated that worked thier asses off this year to help Obama win. Be pissed off at the redneck, racists, homophobic, bible thumping, elitists that destroyed McCains campaign. Be pissed off at Bush for being one of the worst presidents ever and having him drag the entire RNC with him. The Republicans had thier shot and blew it. ---

I cant even quote enough posts in this thread and stuff i am reading on facebook and hearing from people around me (im in vegas) There are so many americans that do not deserve this incredible of a man as their leader. Last night was historic. There are BILLIONS of people around the world who are as happy and as excited as i am about this. Some people here and alot of people elsewhere should be as ashamed of their reaction to this as those complete fucking sloths who booed Obama at McCain’s speech. True colors… fortunately there were only a couple thousand people there… maybe not even a thousand. ---

never in a million years did i see myself voting for an african american. but i did, b/c the ideals of the leader of our country are more important than his color/name (president obama? weird). I’m happy with the outcome, and GREAT speech by obama. MOST importantly, bush is gone! LOL ---

Bush is not gone, he still has a few weeks in november to try and change economic policy. Environmental policy can be changed further into December. Be afraid, BUSH is still around, trying to fuck things up. ---
