Is it me or does the electoral vote system seem shitty? Do they update the number of votes based on GDP per state? ---

To sum up their thoughts in one sentence, Obama is not the douche bag that Bush is. Despite his lack of foreign policy experience, it seems that other countries are very optimistic about Obama being president. I will just say, If Obama wantā€™s to avoid the greatest economic disaster this country has EVER seen, he better figure out a way to keep atleat 2 of the big 3 viable for the next few years. If Ford and GM go down weā€™re all fucked and the Obama administration will go down in history as one of the worst times in American history regardless of whoā€™s fault it is. ---

And since for many of these people that becomes thier only options in thier eyes they go to drugs and crime. Now Iā€™m not for affirmative action, but I am for getting the systems to work so that everyone has on opportunity to succeed. They just have to go out and apply themselves. ---

Iā€™ve thought about it and I mean it would definitely switch campaigning to big cities only, but it just sucks that 4 of the 5 most populous states are not in play right now, with the lone exception being FL, and that losing one state by .0000001% is the same as losing it by 99%. Maybe something like the democratic primary system, where there was still an electoral system, but every state actually mattered, since margins counted. ---
