I got there and was in a line of traffic just after 11, I was about to get in (maybe 10 cars back) and they started turning us away. about 100-150 of us went to Newburgh Mall, till security called the cops. ---

yea the dude who created it put up a thing saying “don’t come before 11 the gates wont be open an you’ll be waiting in a field”. then he just put on the facebook page “if you wanted a spot, you should’ve showed up earlier” so which is it clown? it was fun, but it was poorly executed. ---

Glad I ended up going to work and changing brakes on the bike, sounds like fun but I would have been pissed if I got down there and couldn’t have got in. ---

Sequence of events: - Roll out of Stuyvesant. - KBB can’t reach the ticket at the toll booth. I blow the horn. - Follow KBB 80 miles on Thruway. We hit 70 mph three times. - I lose track of everybody at the exit 17 tolls. Took the first exit I saw on 84W for Montgomery. - Wrong exit. Lost. - Spot a pack of M coupes. Follow them. - Traffic at a dead stop. Not even in the park yet. - Riding the clutch. 30 minutes passes. - Text CFD saying I’m stuck in a huge entrance line. He says wait until you see the hill. - WRRRRIIIIZZZZZZZZZZZZ (engine fans) - Oh fuck there’s the hill. - Riding the clutch. - RX8 behind me. Girl passenger tongues her dog. - 15 minutes of texting consisting of “gate is closed!” and “gate is open!” - Riding the clutch. - Everyone in front of me starts to turn around. I follow. - Cars EVERYWHERE redlining through the park looking for parking. Chaos. - Talk to kids from Brooklyn who were turned away at gate. - Meet another group who says the overflow are meeting at Newburgh Mall. - CFD calls and says him and KBB are in and cars are still getting through. - 15 minutes later, reach the gate. - Organizer says event is at capacity and I need to leave. Park illegally and I’ll be ticketed. - Parked illegally. Walked into event without paying. - Worried about my car. - KBB eats a hamburger. - PT Cruiser bounces off the rev limiter near the food vendors. - Really fucking worried about my car. - Left early like an asshole and drove two hours home. ---
