long story short, it turns out the oem DC5 lsd won’t work with the mods I need to do to make it work in the application, but apparently the obx will due to the different case design. It comes with 2 good bearings already installed, just needs your speedo gear i’m probably going to give this like a week or so on the boards, if no luck then i’ll just throw it up on ebay and buy an obx. But you never know, I may get impatient if no interest here so lmk asap anyone with a **K-series** obx looking to upgrade to oem type-r now’s your chance. ---

Is this for a k series or b series? and how much for the lsd? ---

dc5 = k dc2 = b i’d rather trade to just to make it simpler but outright I’d need to get at least enough to pay for an obx shipped to my door seems fair since I’m forced to downgrade to the crappy obx :crap: ---

so wait, why would an obx fit and not an oem dc5r? thats why i asked if it was for a k trans or a b (the b will fit into a K with mods) ---

thats why I originally said long story short… what I’m doing isnt going into a standard k-series case, its a custom project 🙂 ---
