Yay Sekera… Yay Weber! FTW FTW FTW!!! Oh wait, Boston has 91 points, Buffalo has 86, with one more game against Boston and an equal number of games remaining. So even if we beat them in regulation in the next game we still need them to lose two games. ---

Rangers- 91pts (Cannot gain another point) Philly- 91pts (1 point allowed) Boston-91pts (1 point allowed) Washington- 88pts (They can win out, but Carolina can only gain 1 more point) Buffalo- 86pts (Must win their remaining games for anything above in parentheses to matter) First off, the Sabres need to win their remaining 3 games before anything else matters. Then they need 2 of the teams with 91pts to lose out to make it in. Washington is going to make it, imo, so if Carolina loses out (or gets 1 pt max), the Caps get the 3rd seed and Carolina drops to 10th. However unlikely this may seem to be, it’s still possible. ---

I wonder who asshat will rotate the C onto for April. Is it legal to make “the fans” your captain for a month? That would be even more touchy feely douchebaggery than rotating it from player to player and would be the ultimate way to cap a season that has lacked leadership from day one. ---

can they just lose already and get it over with. they dont deserve to make it to the playoffs and even if they do, we are going to be embarassed for even trying. any team that has to play every game like its their last doesnt need to be going to the playoffs. save yourself the time and start to focus on next year. dont get me wrong, i love the sabres, but damn it, im sick of the bullshit. ---
