Max has been bounced from one line to the next all season and they wonder why he’s struggled. If they’re going to keep doing that to him I hope they do trade him because the kid deserves to put on a line and given some time to click with his linemates. ---

Philly’s got a tough road ahead with Pitts, Jersey, Pitts. Boston’s got Jersey, Ottawa, Buffalo. Gonna suck chearing for Ottawa in that second one. Washington has Tampa Bay and the Panthers, so they clearly have the easy schedule. If Philly and Boston lose out both Washington and Buffalo have room to get in. ---

Gotta watch Carolina drop from 3rd to out of the playoffs…they have the same points as Washington so even if Washington wins, Carolina can lose out and we can hurdle them. Then Philly or Boston has to lose out and we have to win out. crazy… ---

its really outrageous to think that if we had not let ottawa rob us of 2 points and take 2 points, and let montreal rob us of a point and take 2, we would actually be ahead of ottawa and in a tie for 8th place with 91 points. we would have been in a position to control our own destiny. if we dont make the playoffs, it will not have been because of the lack of opportunities. this team had its shots, and blew them time after time over the last month. even after such an up and down season, they were still in position to cash in, and failed to do so. thats the difference one, two, or three captain type players can make… ---
