ugh that was a bad call on tallinder for tripping, tha tampa player’s skate hit his and fell down. and were giving up way too many 2-1’s ---

Wow, not that it would have mattered, but the officiating sucked for both teams, it was almost like they didn’t know what he rules were. ---

I love how we gave up a bunch of 2 on 1s making butler dive to stops shots. Awesome work guys…now if we could just get some more penalties we could definitely give the opposing team 10 goals.:fail: ---

My old high school hockey coach Fred Korey was given the J. Michael Duffett award when the sabres played Carolina the other day. He and Hasek started the Hasek’s Heroes program, and Hasek got control (leased) the Bud Bakewell Rink from the city/county. Fred Korey was running the rink. Great guy, told me if I ever didn’t have enough guys at my skate I could still just charge ten a head and give them whatever I could come up with (Ice was normally $120 an hour at the time btw) Unfortunately he came down with Lou Gehrig’s disease, There was a benefit for him a couple years ago but I hadn’t heard much other than he’s stable. From what I understand there will be blackouts on center ice in the buffalo area. However there are a few places that should be streaming it. I know yahoo does certain games and you can use a proxy to get around it. Wouldn’t be surprised if more options popped up before the dates. ---
