So my roomate’s company has been developing an online fantasy hockey type game for the only Pens, it should be relased in the next week or two and ill post the link but they said they will be awarding prizes about every week and i believe one of the grand prizes is a meet and greet as well as a morning skate with crosby, should be pretty sweet. ---

well wtf is happening with the pens!! these lines are horrible, they have no urgency, they’re blowing leads, etc… we need to start trading people and get some talent! Havlat, Afinogenov, gaborik( if he was healthy and didnt want alot of money), kovalchuk (would be nice but him and sid hate each other with a passion and it would never work), and there are others out there that we could pick up… but the pens need to do something and step up. dupius, fedotenko, arent doing anything, plus we have others in the ahl that arent bad that we can trade! and what sucks is that the pens openly admitted that they usually always lose the first game if they play back to back… that sucks ---

^ good post. I think it is injuries finally catching up to us. Figure we have 2 allstar d-men out…not that Letang and Goli aren’t doing well, but we would be a better team with #19 and #55 back there…especailly on the PP. Then add in Ziggy and Kennedy are out, good faceoff man and a energy guy…no gill, fleury… it all adds up. Look at our lineup last night how many minor leaguers did we have? I think cone late December early Jan we will pick it back up again if we get some healthy players back. I will say though I do not like how we are winning and losing games this season. It seems like we win by coming back which is good, but I would like to see us control the game from the start. Then when we do start good we seem to blow a lead and do not finish the game strong. I mean like 1/2 of our games went to OT…b/c of either having to comeback in the 3rd or blowing a lead. I just want to see them play more 60 minute games and start and finish strong. I think/hope this will happen once we get some healthy bodies back. ---

exactly we cant control one game, either we are losing and wait till the 3rd to make a come back or we have to play catch up. as for fedotenko, WOW one game with 2 goals… nobody besides crosby and malkin can stay on a streak with points. and yes it does matter about the score sheet cause if there are no points next to anyones name then you dont win. Ya I want people out there that give 100% note I didnt put talbot or staals name into my rant bc to me they play 100% or more a game even though there is no points next to their name. but fedotenko and dupius have been jumping through all the lines and it doesnt seem like they have chemistry… thats what im saying. yes injuries are hurting us especially on D, but im talking offense. and yes once ziggy and TK get back then they will help out. but i think we need to find someone to put up on that top line with crosby. it seems only malkin can play with him, and everyone else is just there to fill in. ---

I can pretty much agree with all of that. If you think of it how many “true” top 6 players do we really have? Maybe 4?..Sid, Geno, Pistol Pete, and Satan. Pistol Pete and Satan are too inconsistent…You could argue Staal is a top 2 liner but he plays center and we have those. Not sure what is going to happen in the near future (this season) but I am sure Shero knows we need a solid winger who can light the lamp on a somewhat consistent basis…hence Satan and Fedetanko having 1yr deals ---

first off your an ass! and ill start listening to you once you start consistently scoring on the ice 🙂 second wow so he can score when they put him out there the entire game against one of the worse teams in the league… ill take back my statement when he can do it consistently and against teams like the sharks, nyr, vancouver… etc… ya so everyones excited that he scored, good for him, do it again and again and again… dont go on dry spells then have one big game and think hes an all star… I want to see people other then malkin and crosby doing something game after game after game… dont you? ---
