You cant hold the 2 seaons side by side, the idiot coach of the flyers was juggaling goalies for half the season trying to see if Nitty could fill martys shoes after the season was over. You try keeping momentum when the coach sits you randomly for no reason, and your getting zero help from shitty defense. Back to the Russian debate, it seems like every russian is expected to be great. I remember a few years back watching a sabres game and generette or the other guy was talking about how exceptional Max was on his feet, but how he will never be a great because hes not a natural goal scorer. Truth is, if he was he would be pretty sick, if his hands could only keep up with his feet. If the penguins cry thier way to another cup I’m going to lose my mind, lets hope the Capitals get it this year tho, they need one. Anyone have anything to say about Thomas? was last year just a good year, or do you see him stopping everything under the sun again? Thoughts on emerys return, I personally think hes garbage too, but we shall see. Buffalo needs to move vanek, too much of the cap is tied up in a 30 goal scorer who has been scared of the blue line since his jaw injury. Beck, you see any last minute signing in the next day or 2 ? ---

where do u get a 20 goal scorer for vanek?? hes averages 40 goals a season? he is a huge contributor to us winning games regardless of how unorthodox some people think his scoring touch is. ---

thomas is a great goaltender. he was a late bloomer career-wise, but he works his ass off and plays well emery’s big problem is rebound control, but he did very well russia last year. i’m not expecting much, but we’ll see ---
