People complain about Grier being washed up…how about Niedermayer? He’s no Rob Ray, there is no excuse for a guy like that to be getting ice time when he is 0-for-the-season at scoring.

1 goal won’t change my mind on Grier. He is still slow, could be showing more effort and needs to step up. This is a good start, hopefully he will build off it.

A lot of speculation floating around about the Sabres. Some say Pegula wants Brad Richards and Paul Stastny. I’d believe us getting stastny before we got richards, but then again…this is a new era.

From what I’ve heard Dallas wants a ridiculous amount of players for Richards.

2 goals is good. Lets hope they make the push they need for a playoff spot. It was good to see them play the way they did in the first period but the rest of the game was the Sabres we know. They need more work and hopefully the new owners idea of making Buffalo “a team players want to come to” is going to be the spark they need to play efficient.

by far the most physical, entertaining game of the season. mccormick is a fuckin animal and played and fought his ass off.Boyes shows more and more every game that he is finiding chemistry and is a perfect fit for us. Team effort was great ennis and gerbe showed that small fast players can still flourish in the nhl. great team effort

I also woulda liked to see Myers get into it with Chara. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen Myers fight but he’s one of the few people in the NHL that is tall enough to stand up to him.

Myers clearly isn’t a fighter, he has never been in a fight, at least at the pro level. Starting with the biggest, strongest guy in the league, who has never lost a fight, probably isn’t in his best interest.
