I too was concerned about the defense at first but you have to sit back and realize that Big Ben is one of the top 5 QB,s in the NFL and has a lot of weapons. He made a few outstanding plays. And then even when the backups were in they were playing against Leftwich, who could start for a lot of teams in the NFL right now. I think were in for a good season people… Playoff birth at least, Ill even be as bold to say we could take the division… YES, I SAID IT! ---

DON’T JINX IT! lol Considering where the steelers stand, I think we played very accurately. Backups or not. 9 for 11 and 2 TD passes from Trent, Losman got sacked twice lol. So we know he’ll stay out. ---

lol…enough with people talking about playoffs and this amazing record… who the fuck knows what will happen. Yes we looked awesome… yes it looked like our offense was clicking, but its only pre season. I’d like to see them make the playoffs more than anything, but its wayyy too hard to tell at this point. Look at the amount of games we lost last year because of a winning field goal at the end of the game by an opposing team…or a TD we SHOULD have got… we could have had a chance last year… so who knows whats gonna happen this year. just gotta take it game by game. ---

Take it game by game is something a coash says lol. Were fans… we can make predictions. But in your preseason defense, dint we only win 1 preseason game in the 4 superbowl years? I guess that says a lot about preaseason but still. You could see how solid the starters looked against a great team. That combined with what our team seemed to be in its off field status (the players we picked up, the players who “should” develop, the players that are projected to good.) really says a playoff caliber team imho ---
