You guys make fun of Obama for not announcing his VP yet McBush has been the “nominee” for the republicans months befor Obama won the primary. Where the hell is his VP? I hope he picks Lieberman that should make the republicans stay home this november. ---

Maybe the telepromptor is broken so Obama HAS to text his decision.:lol: He reminds me of our old CNC machines that require a paper tape to operate. WHAT CHANGE DO YOU WANT ? George Bush has been in office for 7 1/2 years. The first six the economy was fine. A little over one year ago: 1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high; 2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon; 3) the unemployment rate was 4.5%. 4) the DOW JONES hit a record high–14,000 + 5) American’s were buying new cars, taking cruises, vacations o’seas, living large!.. But American’s wanted ‘CHANNNGE’! So, in 2006 they voted in a Democratic Congress & yep–we got ‘CHANGE’ all right!.. 1) Consumer confidence has plummeted ; &nb sp; 2) Gasoline is now over $4 a gallon & climbing!; 3) Unemployment is up to 5% (a 10% increase); 4) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $12 TRILLION DOLLARS & prices still dropping; 5) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure. 6) as I write, THE DOW is probing another low~~11,300- -$2.5 TRILLION DOLLARS HAS EVAPORATED FROM THEIR STOCKS, BONDS & MUTUAL FUNDS INVESTMENT PORTFOLIOS! YEP , IN 2006 AMERICA VOTED FOR CHANGE!..AND WE SURE AS HELL GOT IT!!!..NOW OBAMA is the DEM’S CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT–AND THE POLLS SAY HE’S GONNA BE ‘THE MAN’–CLAIMS HE’S GONNA REALLY GIVE US CHANGE!!..JUST HOW MUCH MORE ‘CHANGE’ DO YA THINK YOU CAN STAND???.. ---

I remember my dad in 2002 saying things were starting to look bad when so many machine shops seemed to be going under. Healthcare has been a problem for years and the republicans have done shit about it. Anything good that was part of the first term of Bush was because of the 90’s. And no I’m not giving sole credit to Clinton. But Bush and Co. didn’t do anything either. ---

Number one is the reason for the rest. Anytime you liberals get elected everyone with money gets scared. I know you don’t like to admit it but the people with money hate you socialist whiners and they know no good can come from you taking more of their money so the economy slows. You surprise me at how much just flies right over your head. ---

Well AWDrifter wants to know what change liberals want so here is just my list. 1. Tax breaks on the middle class, not the rich. 2. Withdrawl of troops in Iraq. 3. Redeployment of troops to Afghanistan. 4. Government committment to renewable energy such as wind and solar to power most of america within 15 years. 5. Stem cell research to save peoples lives. 6. Protection of Roe Vs Wade. 7. Universal Healthcare. 8. A FEMA that works. 9. Destruction of “No Child Left Behind” (doesn’t work, hurts schools) 10. Removal of “don’t as don’t tell”. 11. Closing Gitmo Bay prison but leave the base. 12. Legislation to begin mandateing all cars get 30/30 mileage in 5 years. 13. End of warentless wiretapping. 14. End of the Patriot Act. Thats all for now might add some later. ---

This is a tough issue for those of us in the pro-life community. I would remind you that these stem cells are either going to be discarded or perpetually frozen. Don’t assume that I meant that this was what democrats want. I said liberal not democrats. Trust me I know what the dems agreed too. And it pisses me off. As far as NCLB is concerned, it was terrible legislation from the get go. And by holding schools accountable you mean take away there funding, yeah that will work. There are far too many problems that these schools face that is out of thier control yet they are made responcible for them. As far as Gitmo is concerned, everyone of them should be put on trial and if found guilty be put in federal prisons. So far the only thing we have done has said that our constitution means shit. If we’re supposed to be the beacons of light we’re supposed to be then why do we have stalinist style prison camps. I thought we were trying to spread freedom around the world. And typo on the 5 year fuel eceonomy, I meant 10, which is achievable.
