That’s how Boston wins, that is the only way I think they can win, is out muscle teams. They’ve got plenty of grit throughout their 4 lines, not a whole lot of speed and they don’t really have any outstanding goal scorers. ---

so much hate on grier… ok so tell me why lindy has even said that he is one if not one of the hardest working players on the team every game and a huge leader in the locker room? just becasue he cant skate fast and score goals every game. doesnt mean you should be hating on the only sabre to work his ass of every game… well not including miller that is ---

Who Ellis? Gaustad? they are usually the ones I see skating and playing consistent every game. Grier actually was skating hard, shooting pucks, and throwing hits last night. Most nights however, he’s dogging it and just going through the motions. If you’re going by what Lindy says then eveyrone on the team deserves a gold star, and an A for effort. Please, I don’t think any coach (Brian Burke excluded) is going to call out a player. Grier has the potential to be a top power forward I think, he just isn’t playing his best game. Same can be said for Vanek prior to his injury in the regular season. If the puck wasn’t on his stick he was barely moving and was basically there to dump it in. When he came back, he was skating full blast, throwing some checks, and shooting and stickhandling a lot better. ---

The game wasn’t on VS if you’re in the Buffalo home market. They blacked it out and made you watch it on shitty MSG non-HD. I knew the minute they took that retarded too many men penalty that Boston would score. Just like the year we took a stupid delay of game penalty in playoff OT. ---
