Its about time GM started making more power out of the slower motors…jap and euro cars have been doin it for years now.:tup: to getting this out of their butt and coming to terms with the times. ---

That is the same engine as the Cadillac CTS. I know they under rate the V8’s and thats mainly for safety and insurance. THe CTS is 304 at the crank from what I have read ---

so the dealer’s launch meeting today was pretty vague too. They did say we can consens to them in december and the first day of production will be FEBRUARY 16TH 2009. i think the V6 will be mid 200’s at the tires but the V8’s I think will be under rated so I’d guess 400hp at the tires won’t be unimaginable. should I wait for the convertible? Derek has a good idea about using a coupe as a demo but I’d rather sell it i think and get the $$. I’m going to guess that these will go for over sticker for the first few then settle down after about 6 months or so. ---

big motors weigh alot… camarojoe… as soon as they release pricing I will make sure it’s up here… unfortunately we already have a 6 person waiting list and one of them gave us $500 to make sure he’s number 1 on it. If I can’t get one for you we do have 2 more Chevy franchises so I’ll make sure you are one of the first if you want. EDIT: I’ll see if I can get us a better copy of that reference guide because that one sucks. ---

the weight kind of kills the appeal for me too. I mean come on, my 4th gen weighs 3353 according to the registration… add 500lbs for the next gen and 50hp?
