Yeah… Prime will pwn. I’m liking this thing so far… but I’m coming from a stock Droid, overclocked to 1.1. lol Although, I fucking hate skins… stock Gingerbread FTW. ---

Dang. Dual core 7" android tablet for $199? A Blackberry Playbook running a customized version of Android. If the Kindle Fire can be hacked to run an unmolested version of Android it will be awesome. ---

I wouldn’t even consider this an android device. Amazon seems to be going down their own path and really separating itself from Android by just using the guts of the OS as a starting point. ---

haha yeah I swear though, the iPad thing is catching on at work. People keep bringing them to meetings. I see them sit there and do NOTHING with them. Every 20 minutes, they jot down a little note on it. News flash, buddy, there is free pens and paper in the break room for taking a tiny amount of notes. Also, I noticed that same guy carries an iPhone, so don’t give me the “email/calendaring” crap. You already get that crap on another device. /rant ---

yeah I’d use it more for eBooks (any study guides, take apart guides), quick reference for troubleshooting, blueprints/wiring diagrams for our buildings, etc and still I don’t really think I need one…I might get one of these just for my eBook collection that I … :snky: acquired :snky: ---
