i had an over the air update for ics this morning on my Maxx, i always like to start with a fresh platform so i did a data reset and when i was done the update was gone… oh well should be back soon enough ---

There was a trick to delete some app’s data and then check for updates, repeat that 1-10x and the update should appear. This was on nexus, but I’d imagine its the same on the maxx. ---

Force close google services framework, clear data & repeat. Hasn’t worked for me. Big mess with voicemail when you use voice and someone leave you vm while framework is down. I have a vm icon that I’ll have to reset to get rid of. ---

Hopefully since the devs were able to get this working so quickly it’ll get through Verizon testing nice and quick and roll out in mid-July with the rest of the field. ---

If you get a chance watch the whole thing, I’m on the first hour and it’s great. The Q seems really cool, Jelly Bean has so many awesome features including an improved voice search to compete with Siri. ---
